🔐 Position: Security Screeners – Level 1
CSG is recruiting qualified and motivated candidates for Level 1 Screener positions. These individuals will play a vital role in ensuring passenger and cargo safety in aviation environments such as terminals, cargo warehouses, and restricted zones.
📋 Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Screen passengers and baggage using X-ray machines
- Conduct random searches (1 in 5 for people, 1 in 10 for bags)
- Liaise with passengers and clients daily regarding AVSEC rules
- Check boarding passes and access permits
- Open and close doors to restricted aviation areas
- Handle administration and documentation at cargo and basement areas
- Complete daily registers and security logs
- Ensure compliance with CAA and ASSO standards
- Prepare for and pass annual aviation security exams
✅ Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- PSIRA Registered – Grade C (valid documentation required)
- Grade 12 Certificate (must be the original – no statements of results accepted)
- Clear criminal record
- Experience in the security industry or a similar client-facing role is advantageous
- Computer literate
- Physically fit – able to stand for long hours
