Are you a recent graduate or student in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Land Surveying looking to gain practical experience in a nationally significant infrastructure project? SANRAL, in collaboration with Base Major CSCEC JV, is inviting qualified South African youth to apply for the 2025 Work-Experiential Training Programme at the iconic EB Cloete Interchange (Spaghetti Junction) construction site in KwaZulu-Natal.

This opportunity is essential for those needing workplace exposure to meet qualification requirements or professional registration with ECSA, SACPCMP, SACQSP, or SAGC.

Available Training Opportunities & Requirements

1. Graduates – Universities

Field: Civil Engineering (BEng / BSc)
Objective: Gain experience to register with ECSA or SACPCMP
Requirements:

2. Graduates – Universities of Technology (UOT)

Fields:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Land Surveying
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Construction Management
    Objective: Practical experience for ECSA, SACPCMP, SACQSP, or SAGC registration

3. In-Service Training – P1 & P2 (UOT Students)

Objective: Complete 12-month WIL programme

4. TVET College – NATED Programmes

Field: Civil Engineering
Objective: 18 or 24-month WIL experience
